Years I tried to get my perfect lover to be my wife. We were 90% perfect... more than any other couple I have ever seen. But in the end it all fell apart because... she did not know what love is, and in not understanding that was the unraveling of everything else. It led her to never trust me, regardess of evidence. Which led her to believe that I was doing everything she wad doing, and gave her the perfect excuse to do it... because in her head, she was "getting me back" for infidelity that she believed I was just better at hiding than she was at discovering.
That's the sort of shit that happens when someone doesn't understand what love is.
