Lol, I was in an elevator with Zan once. I did not know who the F* he was nor did I care. He responded to my not knowing with ego. He started talking to his companion about his book (again I didn't care) because in my eyes he was just "some loser".
Later that day I heard him speak and he changed my mind. He's a legit badass. Grew up in the wilderness of Canada throwing axes.
I hope your homage is legit.
