Even stuff like the Boundless Informant or PRISM etc. could be some kinda distractions anyways, still not sure if Snowden were just a decoy or honeypot etc.
They're so successful these days because most people in developed countries (and developing ones down the road) are pretty much "glued" to their mobile devices virtually all the time.
We're "told" what kinda women to desire and what kinda junk we've gotta eat at least 3 times a day. And then what kinda pills to take when SHTF while stuff like "cancer awareness" should be the spotlight because apparently KFC is the answer for curing breast cancer as long as we're combining that with the power of Komen Buckets. That's gotta work much better than homeopathic remedies when we consider the "fact" that eating carcinogenic foods should be a cancer patient's best bet.
Get a job we don't even like and then spend all that money on stuff we don't really need:

Absolutely no need to think about what makes us genuinely happy and fulfilled because none of that would come from within, step right on that infamous Hedonic Treadmill and call it a day:

I could go on and on but you've gotta know what the deal is already.
This is going to sound condescending and arrogant even though I don't mean to be but I feel like majority of society is extremely brainwashed, my friends, family and everyone I know is SO brainwashed they are literally living out of fear and what there parents or society wants for them.
Any outcome or lifestyle that goes out of what's "accepted" by society and they are completely against it.
For example, my friend I spoke to few days ago is making his decisions in career and life today because of what society and people will think of him when he's 40. He's 22 at the moment.
He said this exactly I just rephrased it because I can't remember the exact wording arrangement.
but not only that but even things like diet, health, what it means to be a man, or what it means to be a woman. So many things in my opinion are shoved down people's throat and they don't have the critical thinking skills or intuition to make there own decision and come up with another conclusion or solution to something.
I don't know if i'm making allot of sense to you all reading this because i'm not being very articulate but do you guys know what I mean?
If I could summarize what I mean the best way to put it is "People live and act almost solely on Fear"
examples =
marry young or the first woman you meet because you fear being alone,
Go to university straight out of high school and do something "guaranteed" because it's low risk and socially accepted and people
think highly of people who went to school.
Not starting a business or focusing real effort on something like music or art because they don't believe they can do it or they are afraid of what people will think.
these are just some examples that I can think of and they may not be true and there is always exceptions to EVERYTHING.
Even things like fashion are all brainwashed and fear based. (for most people)
I remember one of the most interesting and exciting things that happened to me was on my first run of alpha male. I went to a rave in which I knew like 40 people there and instead of dressing like all the other ravers or typical clothing I decided to go in a a wacky psychedelic dress shirt , white dress shoes and an extremely psychedelic blue jeans design. It's hard to explain the outfit but it's something you would see a celebrity wear if he's trying to be eccentric say like at an award show or something. ( I didn't copy the outfit from anywhere though I just wanted to wear it so I did)
I literally had people coming up to me telling me I was making a "fashion statement" with this outfit.
I had woman complimenting me constantly and I even hooked up with a chick that night.
I stood out and wore and did what I wanted to do. Prior to alpha male I wouldn't have even considered wearing that outfit for fear of being ridiculed or embarrassed.
It was a nice but VERY unusual outfit design that I personally created myself randomly and it turned out to be a hit, because I DIDN'T give a fuck.
btw I don't know how well that story relates to the general idea of my post but it's interesting none the less.
