Bluetooth?

Make sure you get something Bluetooth 2.0 EDR or above which should be pretty easy as that standard was released in 2004. Bluetooth 1.0 only supports 1.0 Mbit per second which wouldn't handle CD quality.

Shannon what's your input on this? I've been using Bluetooth sleepphones and wired interchangeably. Bluetooth for when I sleep and wired during the day.

I've been using these almost exclusively with Bluetooth (LG Tone, JBL Flip) with great results.
I think anything digitized and delivered to the listening appliance should be delivered in it's entirety along the entire frequency spectrum within the given bitrate. (I can't tell the difference between 128khz and 320khz)
Maybe Shannon can shed some light on the bitrate these are encoded to...?
Doubtful it (BT) has any way of discerning what can be consciously heard.
