Unfortunately, it is not my body... nor my decision to go forward with the surgery. I'm up against Doctor's, Nurses, health insurance company, and my Mom.
Best thing I can do is help her cope with any stress or anxiety she may be experiencing by playing Anxiety Relief Aid. I didn't tell her it is playing to avoid any placebo effect.
I felt the same way as you in regards to cancer treatment. I told my former boss to not let his daughter go through chemo. The chemo ended up curing her though.
So you never know it could help!
