I used to do the Brent Smith thing and get a girls number so I can text her about something social like an event or something that I was going to give her information about, making her think that I would be like every other guy and continue texting her whereas I would only text her about the event and then never text her again or text her with "Hey, it's Adam, here's my number" and leave it at that, fully expecting her to then start texting me, which usually worked out that way. Then when she started texting me out of the blue, I now have free license to say whatever I want which is usually "So I suppose you want to get together." and then tell her to come over to my house. I always tried to keep it short with the text messages and keep it to the point, because I hate talking on the phone and simply refused to do it, but that's just me.
Nowadays, I don't really do that. I usually just say "I guess I'll see you around." After a rally hot interaction(Drives them nuts) They usually say "Do you want my number?" and so I take it and text them mine and forget about it. That's my method, though, because I'm not big on reaching out, but I don't really like pursuing women, so it might not be useful to you if you enjoy that sort of thing, but it always helps to have a different angle to look at things.
