No, I only used them once with the hybrid. It sounded the same except the volume had to be set louder to hear the subliminal.
"In the ear" headset - 25 percent of the volume was comfortable
"Bone conduction" headset - 75 percent of the volume was comfortable
(below 60 percent, I didn't hear the subliminal sound track)
