It doesn't claim cause and effect - that more partners causes a woman to be "ruined" - but that a woman who would have several partners is probably not cut out for commitment in the first place.
The research also arbitrarily define what a "good" or "bad" marriage means. The study is not in an academic paper nor was it peer reviewed.
Also found a survey stating that men are turned off by women's sexual history at increasing amounts (10, 20, 100, etc.); but that's the man's choice to not settle down with her.
