Hey Shannon, how long should I do the visualization practice for each day? And do you have any other tips or suggestions for me while I practice these visualizations?
You don't necessarily need to use visualization at all; not everyone has that ability (without some training and practice). But if you're going to use visualization, what I like to do is, every morning just after I awaken, and every night just before I fall asleep, I spend 5 minutes focusing myself into as much of a visualized awareness of my desires as possible. During the rest of the day, I set it and forget it.
Thank you for answering my question, Shannon. I say visualization because the process of using all 5 senses and emotions to imagine what I want sounded like visualization with more added to it. If I don't use visualization, what exactly AM I using? And do I also do it for 5 minutes every morning and evening?
Again, THANK YOU for answering my questions on this.
Visualization is much less than what I am describing. Visualization all by itself is the creation of a mental visual image or movie and focusing your attention on and energy into that.
What I am talking about is using ALL of your physical senses AND your emotions in creation.
I say visualization isn't necessary because some people do not have the capacity to mentally visualize without practice, and sometimes even with. They can still achieve through this method by engaging all of the senses and their emotions just the same, to the best of their ability.
What I am advocating is something I call "becoming". Others have called it by different names. It can be done without one of the five physical senses, but it is slower. Using all five is definitely best.
If you want to get the best results, you do it for 5 minutes every morning as you are waking up, and every night as you are falling asleep. It can also be done for 5 to 10 minutes during the day, but unless you're going to make some sort of ritual practice out of it, I suggest you just do it morning and night, and otherwise just set it and forget it.
Thank you Shannon. This "becoming" technique gives me a lot of hope. Truth be told, learning of it has probably done more to help me out emotionally than 28 days of using E2, although I'm sure E2 is definitely helping in it's own right. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing it. I really do appreciate this. It doesn't sound easy, but it's a way. My situation's not hopeless, and that's a much better boat than I was in before.
You are introducing unnecessary difficulty here. It is as easy as you make it. Sit down, get comfortable in a place where you won't be distracted, and then spend some time with your eyes closed imagining having what you want, and enjoying it. It starts off as a daydream, but you want to enjoy it so much that it naturally envelops all of your awareness. Put yourself into it. It's easy enough to do. The key is to be as fully within the "daydream" as possible, and enjoy it as much as possible. Make it something that is fully enjoyable.

Is there a way to know how long it takes to fully "become" into the moment I imagine? Or is there no way of guessing?
First, you're not becoming into a moment. You are transitioning yourself from one dominant probability stream to another. You are flowing into a new probability dominance, becoming what you want to be and experience.
Second, how long it takes isn't even something that should cross your mind. I can already see you are engaging your logical mind too much about this, which will be self defeating. It tends to be a fear based reaction to the "threat" of actually achieving the goal. You saw how we have had some members and ex-members here spend over a year using manifestation methods and fail because of that. Yours is not to wonder when, yours is to simply do, and then... let go of it. It will happen when you do. Again, set it and forget it. Besides, everyone has different levels of skill and ability and training in this, and it takes a different amount of "time" for each person. I can tell you how long it typically takes for me, but how long it would take for you is not something I can know.

Is it best to imagine a single scenario/moment over and over again? Or do I just have to imagine a general theme of things?
When I used this to attract my naturally redheaded girlfriend back in 2003, I would imagine us walking along the beach together sometimes. Sometimes I would imagine us making out, sometimes I would imagine us having great sex, sometimes I would imagine us laying on the couch watching TV together, and so forth.
You can pick one specific "scene" and focus on that, or you can create a running theme and do various aspects of it. If you're new to this, it's usually easier to pick a specific scene which the achievement of would require all of what you want, and then focus on that again and again.

Sorry if I keep asking questions. It's just that I know so little about this and I want to do it right.
That is insecurity talking. Fear. Are you afraid of getting it wrong and failing, or of getting it right, and succeeding? When you worry about something, you're introducing negative attention and energy. That will lead to failure. This must be done without attachment to the outcome. Just do the becoming, enjoy it, and allow what is to be. The more you try to "expect it to happen" or hold onto the outcome or think about it outside of those "becoming times" in the morning and evening, the more your conscious mind and your fears will tend to prevent what you are trying to accomplish.
So do the becoming exercises, and then FORGET ABOUT IT. Enjoy them without attachment, expectation, requirement or thinking about them afterwards. Allow the communication to your subconscious as to your desires through these becoming exercises, and then allow it to do its thing without interference.
You don't worry about becoming what you are. Or having what you have. Or "getting it right" generating your current reality... do you. The key is to do as you do now, but within and as the reality and you are as you want them to be instead. So spend some time before you begin doing these exercises fully understanding just what all you are doing now, which generates the current reality. Right now, you do it so naturally and unconsciously and automatically that you don't even know you're doing it! But until you can do these exact same things, within the reality you desire, you will maintain your current reality.
Two key points:
1. The reality you desire already exists, and you already exist within it, already experiencing all of exactly what you want. But you are not currently focusing into and through it with your current awareness, and therefore it exists as potential to your current awareness until you do. Sort of like an inflated balloon vs a deflated balloon. One exists as potential (deflated) and one is the potential it represents (inflated).
2. To transition across, you only have to step from your current reality to that reality by changing within yourself the beliefs, thoughts, choices and actions that result in your experience of this reality until they result in your experience of that desired reality instead. And joy of joys, all things stem from your deepest beliefs and your emotional intentions! That means that to experience that alternate reality, you only have to change your beliefs and emotional intentions to what they are within that alternate reality, and when you do, that reality must automatically become your inevitable result. That is not to say that it must become your instant result; the transition may require some time, depending on how things must be shifted around to result in your desired reality.
It is something like upgrading a desktop tower computer that is really out of date. Once I did this. I bought a new processor, and discovered that the new processor was a "Socket Y" and the old one was a "Socket X". Well that means that I needed a new motherboard to fit the new processor! So I bought the appropriate motherboard, and upon trying to install it, I discovered that the new motherboard did not accept the old RAM chips. So I needed to buy new RAM chips. Then I couldn't fit the new motherboard in the old tower, because the form factor was different, so I needed a new tower case, and then I discovered that the power supply pluig was different, and I needed a new power supply. And on and on. Planned obsolescence at it's finest, but the point is, once you make that key change (in this analogy, buying the new processor, the heart of a computer), everything else MUST conform to that choice, action and result. So if you create an attunement within yourself to a reality that significantly differs from your current reality, and you do it correctly, that reality MUST result because now you no longer conform to the parameters required to experience that old reality, and the process of making all the subsequently required changes between those two realities begins and continues until the new reality is completely attuned to in all variables.
