I was about to mention Kefir.

It's pretty simple if you have the kefir grains, if you're growing them yourself then i'm not sure.. but I brought the grains and then my friend grew extra.

When you have those you put it in a jar of milk for 24-48 hours in a dark space and you get the kefir.

Yeah, I imagine it's cheaper than buying premade kefir. How does the taste compare to the flavored kefir products?

I haven't tried flavoured kefir products so i'm not sure, the taste isn't horrible or anything. It's a little tangy I guess but doesn't taste bad.. atleast not to me.

I have the grains. Bought them from australia actually (maybe the same place as you :o )

But I'm having trouble with them. Some of them are yellowish and I think that's a bad thing.

The book I got with them says if they don't grow in 4 weeks to consult a page about it.

They've grown a bit however so we'll see.

She's home, but tired. She's got quite a bit of blood her body needs to replace, so her hemoglobin is still below normal.

Thanks for asking, I appreciate it. Smile
