All these crybabies protesting and acting like idiots are exactly why we need change in this country. Some liberal professor at a university actually gave class time off for students who might be "too upset." The pussification of this country has gotten far too out of hand.

And how ironic, the people who were upset at Trump for saying he'd have to see if the he'd accept the results of the election are the very same people who aren't accepting the results of the election from the other side! These people are so damn stupid.

Using that as a sole reason is dumb and scary. I have no problems with a female leader, however, she would have to be the right one. Hillary isn't it, and thankfully now never will be.

I thought it would too but all these women keep saying it's "beyond" male or female that didn't even seem like a valid point to vote for by the end of it

Funny, I was just thinking that. All these people who are crying in the streets and this one I seen this morning of a professor saying "you don't need to do midterms if you're upset by the election result"... those are the exact people who would get more of a say if Hillary won and it would be more 'safe space' and 'don't hurt my feelings' bullshit.

RE: The Politics Thread - chaosvrgn - 11-09-2016

My entire family voted for Trump. We're all black. We all possess degrees from higher education. My brothers and sisters all have Master's degrees. I take that back. Technically I'm a "Master's Candidate" until February -- THEN, I'll be awarded a Master's degree. My best friend is black, and he voted for Trump. He holds two Master's degrees -- an MBA and Masters in Economics. Their "everyone who voted for Trump is uneducated" bullshit narrative is bullshit.

While it's true that Trump attracts the racist alt-right crowd, and they're going to get emboldened at first, the fact of the matter is that the black community (which, sorry guys, I care more about than anything else) will never get out of the rut it's in as long as the Democrats keeps poisoning the black youth's minds with this pussification, feminization and victimization shit. Everyone benefits when there's a strong, and stable economic base. Everyone, regardless of race or gender.

"It would have been worse if Clinton won" is what the liberals are now saying. They made fun of Trump rallies, calling them fighting arenas. Little did they know they were staring at their future selves in the mirror. In fact, this is worse than the disturbances during Trump's campaigns - these are Democrats rejecting the outcome of Democracy!

When Brexit happened, there was this segment on the Daily Show in which Trevor Noah made fun of the heavy accent of an elderly English man who had voted out, instead of focusing on what the man said. In the video, the man was like "Politicians come up here when campaigning, but forget about us when they win". A pertinent point which they missed AFTER Brexit, and continued clowning about the foolishness of the British people. I swear, when I saw that, I knew America was heading the way of Brexit due to the arrogant false sense of hope displayed by the liberal media.

I wish someone would compile a video of talk show hosts and celebrities saying they would move to Canada if Trump wins. That would be good banter!

Many of those "fights" were started by people paid by Democratic strategists. Pretty disgusting.

I don't want to sound sexist, but of all the female presidents i've known lately, all have been SHIT.

Argentina had 8 years of cristina kirchner (wife of ex president same as HRC), and with her the most corrupt government in 200 years history. The calculations are she stole a whole GDP of the country through the 12years they have been in office. A true kleptocracy

In Brazil rousseff was kicked out this year because of corruption.

Merkel has made Germany into a shithole

So yeah not excited about a female president ever.

PS: Salt Mines!!

RE: The Politics Thread - JackOfHearts - 11-10-2016

That's because in this world today it's "forbidden" to say that women in general has a lower ability to be a leader. Male and female have different skills. On average women won't have as much capacity for leadership so finding a good woman to be president is harder. Considering that most males president can't even do it properly.

It doesn't mean no woman can do it though.

Today a lot of people refuse to see that there is a lot of difference between a male and female.

To discriminate means to differentiate but today the term means another thing which has a negative connotation. Discrimination is seen as negative, and unjust, from google definition. So today to say that a male and a female are different is unjust, we should say that they are the same. In other word sex doesn't exist, there is no male and female. Both have the same capacity which obviously isn't true.

I think that comes more from the job being controversial in itself rather than who is in charge. Most world leaders male or female have bad stains on their record. Your charge is mutual for everyone.

Kirchner's husband was insanely corrupt as well, it's ingrained in their political culture if you look at successive leaders. The same for Rousseff in Brazil, the scandal blew open when she was president so she got the worst but Lula, the predecessor, was super guilty as well.

As for Merkel, she did pretty well since she became chancellor in 2005. Won 3 elections in a row. She was the leader in the euro crisis, unlike say Hollande or Cameron who were feeble and nowhere to be seen.

I suspect by the "shithole" part you meant the refugee crisis. The way it was reported was bad. If people actually go there (or Sweden where I live, we take many as well), the only difference taking in asylum seekers is when you go places you see a few people with Arabic origins. Europe also has chronic low-skilled labour shortages, which is filled in here. Do a minority of them commit crimes? Yes. So does everyone. Crime rates for Syrians in particular are no higher than the native populations. If you're worried about crime, a lot worse would come if you deport them back to a warzone that's for sure.

You forgot Margaret Thatcher as well. Agree or disagree with her views, she changed a country and was one of its most competent and well-known leader. Thus far Theresa May is not half-bad, especially given the hand she was dealt.

I can't say I have any particular female leader as a favourite, and Hillary wouldn't be a good president, but I thought your comment was rather one-sided. Just my 2 cents.

RE: The Politics Thread - ImFreeman - 11-10-2016

Yeah, i was talking more about "current" female presidents, but you are right about Margaret Thatcher, maybe they work better when they are conservatives... Le Pen in France soon Big Grin

He destroyed one candidate after another like a boss during the primaries. The Republican party rigged debates against him (thought he couldn't win). One after another they stepped up: Bush, Rubio, Cruz, etc. He humiliated all of them. Jeb Bush's career is done.

He was attacked relentlessly by the media and professional class in the USA. Every powerful force conspired against him. A TON of republicans ended up voting Hillary because they felt he was offensive.

No one thought he would win. Every polling organization gave Hillary a 95%+ chance.

And now, he is president elect. Everyone opposed him, which means he owes NOTHING to ANYONE. Reminds me of Julius Caesar.

December 19th and, the push for the Electorates to change their mind: From minorities to white, homosexuals... there has been a push to get signatures to get the 'Electorates' to change their votes before December 19th... Sad, that in California and most populated States in USA; Protesting has gone to destroying police cars and breaking into businesses... Hillary supporters need to restrain their 'Freedom of Speech' to just 'speaking' and not 'Havoc' for business buildings/Freeways in the USA.

RE: The Politics Thread - Sickologist - 11-13-2016

I knew Trump would win from day 1, I also predicted that on this forum a long time ago.

The reasons are pretty simple; his opponent was trash. How does a politician become worth 250 million dollars over a 30 year period of being a politician? Yeah, exactly right. Trump is not a politician, he's not a republican, he's independent. Obama is maybe the worst president who ever existed, only an idiot would vote for another corrupt establishment democrat. If it wasn't Sanders, he was also independent, good choice. If it was Sanders vs. Trump, Sanders would have won easily. But I knew the democrats (corrupt fuckers) would go for Hillary.

Traditional media is nothing compared to the internet. That's how Trump won, no matter how much propaganda they were pushing, the truth was all over the place. His speeches were good, Hillary's speeches were trash. She reminds me of Obama, everything about her campaign was rehearsed and rigged with empty promises and lies.

In her losing speech, Hillary said "to all the little girls out there, you're powerful". What about the little boys?

In my country the the foreign affairs minister warned against Trump, now he has to step off. The prime minister said she doesn't know much about Trumps policies, it's all over the net, stupid bitch. The amount of propaganda from national news after the election just further confirmed how fucked up my brainwashed, socialistic country is. They were interviewing 14 year old kids saying they didn't like Trump, he's a racist etc. The only interviewed one old geezer who supported Trump and their editing made him look like a fool. Wtf does 14 year old kids know about politics? Nada, they were trying to get sympathy reactions from the public in an attempt to make Trump appear an asshole.

He will emerge as one of the best presidents ever, and in 2 years everybody will keep their mouths shut.
