What a load of crap. He can show up and let people know what's up with a quick journal entry. Telling people he'll be done with a massively anticipated sub and then disappearing without word is irresponsible at best.

Something else is going on - for instance, sick in the hospital. But even then, if you're conscious, you call your business partner and tell him to update the forum.
