RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - AriGold - 09-23-2015

Shannon does what he wants to do. If he did things only because we asked him, there would be a MLS 5G version available.
He wanted to fix BASE 3G but he thought why not make it 4G. He wanted to make EPRHA 2.0 but he put the whole script into Breast Enlargement 5G because it needed to be fixed because of some error that I don't understand. He could have released EPRHA 2.0 but he did not. I don't understand and I don't have to. Sometimes it seems like procrastination or like he is sabotaging his own business, but he said he needed to work on other stuff to be balanced. I have no other option than believe him and hope it's the best way it is done. He sees it that way and I surely cannot prove him wrong.

I know Shannon likes to keep us posted in detail (which also helps marketing his stuff), but sometimes I think it would help if he just put up a list of his top 5 items he is working on to keep him focused on work and not posting too much Smile
But on the other hand it is always great to read his thoughts on certain topics. Wise words, always greatly chosen and always something to keep in mind.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - dissonance - 09-23-2015

I'm sure posting on the forum doesn't take that large of a chunk of time...lol

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Light - 09-23-2015

If Shannon decides that 4g base is only for those who have already 3g , i will find it a bit disappointing.when i joined this forum, there was already no 3 g base, and now i m not allowed to buy 4g + base 5 g is only one chunck for 500$. The argument that base is such a serious sub that requires commitement , therefore one has to save money , buy base and take things seriously is not really convincing.i m a student and do not want to build any business yet, still i am 100% sure base will help me in my studies, therefore i want it in 4 g.
anyways, i think shannon knows what he is doing.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - AlphaRomeo - 09-23-2015

More often than not whenever people say something is "expensive" or that they "can´t afford" it right now it´s about what they ACTUALLY, consciously or unconsciously, VALUE (or don´t value) in life ...not how "expensive" something is.

Unless something is really wayyy unreasonably out of possibility for NOW (in which case, one can work towards getting it later on, if he truly values it).
$100M yacht really is something I can´t afford right now...but if I value it high enough I will start to make plans and take actions towards getting it? Is it guaranteed that I will eventually get it? No...but I don´t mind of ending getting only $1M boat...the essence will be still the same (experience of having nice, comfortable boat to enjoy sailing the waters with some loved ones)

How about $500 program for most students...sure, they might not be able to get it right now, but if they really value it most of them can have it within reasonable time. I don´t know how students spend money these days...but say they go for out/clubbing and/or for beer , dunno how often, once a week? More often? Only twice/month? They buy couple of beers and/or drinks...maybe ticket to some nightclub...something to eat when they come back hungry from the club..? What else, dunno but probably all that adds up close to $100/month, if not more (and some spend way more on that) Within 6 months average student should be able to save $500 for the program, IF he/she can only give up something else FOR NOW, for a while. Given that we are talking about BASE...that "sacrifice" would probably yield long term financial benefits...and possibly giving the change to live a lifestyle later on that most students only dream of.

Most people are slaves for filling immediate satisfaction, at the cost of long term misery. Our society, mainstream media, commercials, celebrity culture, music culture (bling bling anyone? ugh)etc is very efficient at feeding this habit. You can get any of the Shannon´s programs, if you really value it over whatever the night out, or wherever people are spending their money on, gives you. I understand it can be important phase of life to go out at certain age, such is life. But it´s also about choices. 6 moths is a short time. Maybe one can save somewhere else also in order to get the program even sooner? Or get a weekend job? What else you can do in order to be able to "afford" it? Increase your income...(and)/or change your value system? Ask HOW can I afford...?

Not to critique light or anyone in particular, this applies to almost everyone...it´s just that most people are not really aware of this money/value equation and keeps asking wrong kind of questions and/or having wrong mindset towards it. They should teach how money really works starting from elementary schools.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Shannon - 09-23-2015

Some good points have been made in both sides of the argument. I primarily don't want to have a 4G and a 5G version of the same program because it tends to lead to erroneous thinking in how the programs are perceived. That and the fact that if the flagship version takes years, what's the distant second cousin going to do?

On the other hand, I benefited a lot from BASE 3G, which I created for myself. I could not have hoped to save up $500 when I did that because bills were so tight. Saving money wasn't a question of putting away and just not buying coffee, it was... rent or something else. I'm gonna pay rent! So I understand.

It is a challenging call on my end what to do.

you are making a good Point here, that one has to value the product and save for it. but, let me give you a concrete example of how the other Argument is true for a Person like me. I am now on stage 4 of AM6. after i read journals about it, i valued it and i bought it in chuncks and i am damn serious about it. chunks of 200$ each, has made it easier for me to buy the product and use it immediately. now i could have saved 6 months and buy it as one chunck for 500$. what is the difference? the difference is, I have already started the program and when i finish in few months, i can already start my second run, instead of waiting. Those who value a product will value it regardless of its cost. I am sure there will be unfortunately People who will buy the product for 500$ and still not value it and misuse it. for me, it is not the Price tag that gives the ultimate value to a product. it is about how consistent and how disciplined one is. Now if i do not value Base and buy it for 500$ who Am i hurting? just myself. and fortunately People on this Forum are all 18 year olds.
There so many students here who can benifit for Base in 4g or as 5g in seperate chuncks. better still MLS in 5 g.

Maybe then the 4G program description should make clear how much more powerful the 5G version is and how much longer it would take to get results with 4G. In the same way there must be said how much more the 5G version covers. So people who can afford and who are serious about it would choose 5G anyway. Or maybe renaming the 4G in BASE light or something.

Good point from your part as well. Selling program in junks makes sense in the way you describe; when the buyer actually values the program. It´s hard to tell in advance. I was focusing on the principle of price/value equation in a broader/general sense. There was similar discussion somewhere earlier about this and I think it was Benjamin who mentioned something like many people who purchase first one or two stages of multistage programs that are sold in junks (AM/WM/SM at least) often does not proceed to continue to later stages since they are not fully committed financially. In any case, I`m sure Shannon knows what he is doing so let´s see what happens.

One thing I disagree: "and fortunately People on this Forum are all 18 year olds." While many might be very young, there are plenty of older members as well, including myself, but I get your point.

Sorry Alpha i meant in the sentence that we are all supposed to be adults (18 +) in this Forum. I am also in my 30´s :-)

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - AlphaRomeo - 09-24-2015

^^^^Hey np, I read or interpreted the sentence hastily.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Achiever - 09-24-2015

How much will 6G cost,Shannon? I hope it is not too much
Will 6G show obvious results in a day or two or three? Big Grin

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion - Dubls - 09-24-2015

I'm looking forward to the fact that by the time I get around to ASC, it will be 6G.

It was probably Shannon that said that, I don't think I did.
