Have you actually tested the theory? Because I have indirectly with approaching and sales experience as well as my life experience. All the bad shit that's happened in my life, the universe should be bending over backwards for me by now to keep things in balance. But it's not.

The Law of Cause and effect is Universal law not new age BS. Yes I have tested this and some karmas are from other lives. The 7 hermetic principles or Le Kyballion covers this. There is only one self, what is happening because of other people is because of you. You can't blame other people because that's giving power away. The world is your mirror.

You weren't talking about cause and effect, you were talking about "balancing":

There is no bad event in the Universe per say because all events are supposed to teach you a lesson but there is negative Karma. This is not it. Even though Karma means to make, what is happening is that you are peircing though a barrier and you are dealing with resistance. The universe like balance and people hating isvits way of trying to keep homeostasis. On a deeper level it's a reflection of what is happening inside. So it's really you not 100% content with the new you and wants to go back to the old you. Everything in your life is a reflection on what happens internally.

What I mean is that there is only causality. No good or bad. What is, just is, and if something "bad" happens, it's not a divine punishment, just a result of things you did, or did not, do.
