As long as the sub gets played through completely each time, totaling 8 hours a day, the result is the same. Pausing it for awhile to do stuff is totally fine and expected. Make a habit of pausing where you are on the track when you need to do stuff, and continuing from there when you go back to listen again. The most important thing is getting the repetitions of the entire script often enough to make change.
