Your subconscious is the part of the computer that automatically executes the commands it has been programmed with. Your conscious experience is merely a 5-sense screen you watch, smell, feel, taste, and touch it on.
Have you ever met someone with PTSD? Or some sort of phobia? The programming they received during an extreme conscious experience imprinted itself upon the subconscious mind. Those experiences then color every part of their lives, until that trauma/experience is released. That's why programs like EPHRA are so vital. You have to clear away the baggage blocking your way to positive experiences.
My dad has had an insane fear of heights ever since he went mountain climbing with some friends, years before I was born. He slipped on some scree, slid about 15 feet, and found himself looking over the edge of a cliff. That was about 45 years ago. I was in NYC with him last year, and we went up to the bar on top of the hotel we were staying at. There was an indoor bar, and outdoor area. We (my mom, sister, and brother-in-law) went outside with our drinks, dad was right behind us. After a few minutes, I realized, "Hey, where's dad?" Well, the "railing" was actually just clear glass. He saw it, and flipped his lid. Instant dizziness, anxiety, and panic. He couldn't go outside. All because his subconscious mind was screaming, "Height - DANGER - DEATH!" It's a crazy overreaction designed to "protect" you. Unfortunately, it doesn't always serve us. So get rid of it! Thank God we're figuring out ways to do just that. I now have him and mom on EPHRA - hopefully I can get him to continue with Overcome Fear of Heights 4G.
