I don't know ,maybe i'm doing something wrong.
My volume for trickling stream is 10% winamp and 20% overall volume at the right bottom of the screen..then i just switch it to silent and i listen to it around 9 hours on average on my laptop with good 2 speakers.
1 inch would be very good, 1.5 inch would be great....stil nowhere near those numbers.

Obviously I can't tell from those numbers what it sounds like, but I play subs through Windows media player at 80% and 100% on the laptop. Laptops don't play that loud.... I switch to 10-12% on the laptop when I plug headphones in (still 80% in media player).
