-Finishing what you start
-Sticking to things that you know are good for you in the long term, even though you can't see it in the short term
I like both of these. I would also add "Only start things that are worth your time, and finish what you start." so that you are using your time properly. It is up to the man to determine what is worth his time, whether it's time with his family, time working, or time spent alone to rest.
Quote:-Clarity in everything, know what is going on, what to do, understanding, awareness, know what you find fun and enjoyable, what gets your blood going, what is your reason for living, what can I be passionate about? what am I passionate about? ect. What is all this life for? What do I want to do with my life? What are my genuine goals? Desires? What and where is the meaning? ...Clarity
I summarize this as "sees reality" and "accepts reality". This moment cannot be other than it is (Zen), and a man can take steps toward affecting how reality will be in another moment. If this moment is not satisfactory, it is his responsibility to change future moments. Forgive my crude wording: this is coming out unfiltered. (thanks OGSF)
