I wouldn't know about UMS, but I switched from Stage 0 to PRA 6.5G and PRA was waaaaaay more gentle. 
Stage 0 can get hardcore, and yeah, the sales page does inform of that. 
Now I'm running DMSI 6.5 G, can't say much about UMS because the last version I used was an older one.
