Day 21/62 continued
So now I'm reading the companion tome to the above one, called "Traumatic Narcissism and Recovery: Leaving the Prison of Shame and Fear" and it's really, really good. I loved the first one and I'll be following up on some of the references and concepts.
I'm kinda half-tempted to write David Shaw some fan-mail and try to sell him on my concept that we are entering/have entered the age of mass psychosis - based on the predominant mode of governance and interpersonal relations being (trauma-inducing) narcissisim/sado-masochism, and due to the ever-expanding proliferation of widespread disavowal in action - based on Alenka Zupancic's Lacanian approach outlined in her book "Disavowal" - inspired somewhat by the Reichian analysis of mass neurosis in the III Reich just prior to the eruption of World War 2.
I also had some really interesting dreams last night.
