Your writing is most readable, you're well on your way. Although I would highly recommend practicing conversations with careless native speakers for the C2 examination, I neglected that and barely passed the speaking part.

I moved out of my parent's home for many years ago. They are both great, but I've never liked hugging with them, and I never gave my dad a hug of my own accord, it felt awkward. Until today. I visited them for around an hour ago, and when I was about to leave, I gave my dad a warm hug.
All the growth that takes place is very natural. As though I always have been that way.
