- Trouble falling asleep
- Difficulties staying asleep
- Becoming afraid of the dark
- Being afraid to go to sleep
- Waking up with mild to high levels of anxiety during the night
- More nightmares than usual
- Became more sensitive to external sounds/noises
Why has this begun to suddenly happen now? Sleep has never been an issue for me before. I can't express how frustrating this is.
I've decided to stop using LTU6 and instead try the sleep tranquilizer for 1-2 weeks.
Can't help but think could this be a sneaky mind tactic to make me avoid using subs altogether? It certainly feels that way.
I would say that instead of quitting LTUv6, you might want to supplement with OF 5.75G. Or switch to OF 5.75G, since those symptoms obviously mean you're dealing with fear in response to LTUv6. Tranquilizer B won't be the solution you're hoping for, most likely. But giving up on LTUv6 isn't how you achieve your goals.
Please, my friend, do yourself a favor: follow Shannon’s advice and do not give up. All those ‘side effects’ must mean that some big, deep issue is being attacked. All your symptoms (can’t sleep / afraid / afraid again / anxiety / nightmares / possibly hyper vigilant), obviously scream fear.
Shannon, how does one supplement OF to LTU?
I would hate to disagree. @fab10 @Shannon . My intention was never to quit LTU having had amazing results in the past. However, my work performance during the day is stagnating and I've started to feel increasingly depressed and anxious due to poor sleep. I'm wondering if there is a more "smooth" or effective way to go about this.
- Should I just plough through it anyway?
- I am willing to experiment with OF, how should I go about it? I bought Sleep Tranquilliser yesterday night out of sheer desperation but perhaps this was a mistake. Is it possible to get a refund or replace with OF?
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Unfortunately, the nature of digital media is such that we cannot do "swaps" because we cannot know for sure that you deleted all copies of the one you bought. If you haven't downloaded it yet, then I don't see a problem with swapping it, but if you have downloaded it, then I would suggest you try using Tranquilizer B as the first track in your playlist and then running your normal LTU loops. That may help, but giving up on LTU isn't the right choice.
If you do not get the desired results from that it would be because the fear is too high for Tranquilizer B to overcome. In that case, I would suggest supplementing LTU with OF. Basically what that does is it boosts the amount of FRM you get exposed to, which will help.
I have had to supplement LTUv6 with OF for my GF a couple times when she was actively facing her fears, such as the fear of crashing my car if she were to drive it. The first time, when she was extremely anxious and upset, I played it all night long on one of our days off LTU and then in the moment while I was getting her used to driving my car.
I suggest that perhaps a loop of OF at the beginning of your playlist for the night may be helpful, and you may find it helpful to have the first and last loops be OF 5.75G if that still isn't enough.
If even that isn't enough, I would play it during the day and use LTU at night, or vice versa. Both for the standard number of loops each. It will tax your mind heavily to run both, but they will be synergistic. This is one of those very rare cases where you can use both at once.
