You must consider my point of view on one aspect of this. I have responsibility for reading everything posted everywhere, while doing all the other work I do, and trying to offer support. So it gets difficult sometimes to keep track of what is happening in a single thread.
If you're only getting resistance responses, and it's been long term and consistent, I agree, it's time to cut your losses and move along.
