I havnt done much research but Tbh I think US did this so that they can convince while world that whatever steps they are now gonna take towards middle east or other countries would be for their safety.. Also more funding for their military.. Tell me if I am wrong.
Also I can never forget this.. How bad this thing made me feel when 9/11 happened. I was about 11 years old and was being called terrorist in school was insulated and bullied. Was the only one in my class.
Zane I agree its not something people really want to talk about for obvious reasons but I feel that the world is deliberately kept in a state of chaosis by certain "super powers" which boils down to financial motives like you have said funding for military weapons etc.
