I know that they all have an effect on neediness, but I believe that only Alpha set and woman magnet target it specifically. These are very long scripts, though, so it would be impossible for me to say definitively without looking it up, which I can't do right now.
For the others, it can be affected positively by side effect, as Ryan stated.
