As has been said before, each stage is designed to be used for a specific length of time to balance out the previous stage's effects. "Overbalancing" will push you to become unbalanced again, and there isn't going to be an easy balancing of that effect. The option is, don't use it, or start at the beginning and run through the whole set. But you can use the last stage as a refresher every so often.
