I have Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones, which go upto 28k hz and don't have any noise cancellation.
So, I can use them too...
Another thing, will that make any difference if I use speakers for 4 hours and head phones for 4 hours...
Do we have to listen to the subliminals for 8 hrs in one go...or we can space it throughout the day...e.g 6 hours at night using speakers and 2-3 hours during the day using headphones ?
Why shouldn't we listen to ultrasonic on the headphones ?

okay let me explain, the headphones don't have to be any particular kHz because you will NOT listen to silent tracks through headphones, so I'm making sure you get this, do NOT listen to silent ever through headphones. As long as you have stereo headphones (which all are) and its not noise cancelling then you can use any of the MASKED tracks. So yes your headphones are great but only use headphones for the masked (ocean, trickling stream etc) tracks, is that clear?
The way the subs are is that you will get the best effects, meaning quicker results according to Shannon (their producer) by using headphones. However for many this could result in your brain challenging the new programming cause you to react via bad moods and procrastination (I'm still learning, I'm no expert but getting help from others is what I'm distilling here for you and anyone else that reads this reply) so if that happens you want to reduce your listening time perhaps but back to the question....headphones is most effect, then its stereo speakers.
So yes listening 4hours via speakers and 4hours via headphones is great, as is 7hours speakers and 1 hour headphones, or 7hours headphones and 1 hour speakers. The key is listen for 8hours minimum and anything extra is brilliant.
Maximum listening time I've heard is always 21hours hours so be aware of this too. your mind needs time to have a break and process this all as it does with anything and everything.
You can spread it or listen in 1 go, in 24hours. So what most try to do is get 8hours at night, and then anything in the day is a bonus. Depending on your own personal circumstances, you can listen even 1 hour a break then 1 hour a break and still get the benefits. The key is 8hours minimum in a 24hour period.
I cannot remember the exact reason however US are at a high frequency and with headphones you may listen very loud or allow it to penetrate your mind so focused that it could affect your hearing. Since Shannon is the one that creates these and says don't listen to the silent with earphones/headphones then trust me you should want to do that lol
So if he says don't do it and its not what he designed his US (ultrasonic) sub to be for then I say he's the boss and yeah I won't listen with headphones and earphones etc.
Besides if you have headphones on why both with the silent track, its designed to be listened to without interfering with your life, so that you can watch tv, listen to music, study, learn an instrument etc.
The masked are the ones that you can use via speakers or via headphones/earphones so use these as you want. Most to get the 8hours or above or below this will listen to silent at night, via speakers. without speakers of 20khz then always use masked and without speakers then use earphones or headphones with masked only.
Since headphones offer the best route, then using masked with earphones/headphones is something we can all do but of course its not easy getting 8hours a day that way so all try to get speakers and listen at night. this does mean that you have to create a habit of sleeping or being in your room for 8hours atleast, so some of us night owls have to learn to do this lol
