That's the hardest part, but well worth it. Freeing yourself from all that cumbersome nonsense should be priority for every individual who see's modern society for what it really is. I always love the Benjamin Franklin quote "Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do the deserve, either one."

Sadly, for every person who sees modern society for what it really is, a million more are playing XBOX and/or watching the Kardashians.

I think I have a fear of success or something.

This morning when I was walking to my first period class. I saw a friend who I was about to wave to. Then I had a really strange thought. The thought was something along the lines of "You are to confident. You're doing to well, being nervous and insecure was more comfortable. Being successful is scary. You are putting to much of yourself out there." Then instantly I caught myself and I could not belive what I just thought. A couple of times ive had thoughts like this. Although I cant give specific examples brcause I cant remember quite right.

For your fear to be so blatant in trying to stay in power, it must be desperate! That's great news, and you're making huge amounts of progress in the battle to kill it.

Desperation breeds obviousness when it comes to these things. The more aggressively your fears try to stop you, the more successfully you're making strides forward. Let's see what happens as you keep going and crush the hell out of your fears.

@Sean,shannon... Heck yeah guys! I hope you guys are right! I kinda use my family as a measuring stick to my progress and man im improving. I went over to my grandparents house today by myself and just hung out with them. It used to be kind of awkward and annoying but now its really relaxing and nice. This makes me really happy. It shows how much i've improved.

And a question. If I do this sub for lets say 60 days. Will the results be permanent? Or will I have to do it for a longer time or multiple run throughs?

I've previously proposed the name of the next Overcoming Fear release, but I don't think Shannon will adopt it due to marketing issues.

60 days may be enough to gain permanent results, but it's unlikely. You may need to return to the subliminal periodically if you begin to backslide, assuming the fear isn't completely removed. I'd suggest a minimum of 90 days, and see where you are. Everyone is different, and fear has a different grasp on each of us. Good luck.

Had a pretty intense dream last night lol. I was spiderman with a group heros fighting on myside. And villians on the other. The fight got so intense that I ended up punching myself in the face and giving myself a bloody nose in real life. Never did that in my life before hahaha.

Ive been really relaxed lately. I still get nervous in uncomfortable situations. I basically say whatever I want and have been outgoing lately. A really cool benefit is that I want to socialize now. I have always been nervous about it . I think its always been a fear that my parents wouldnt love me if I left the house and socialized with others. Its a big relief to get rid of that.

Whats really cool is I just started texting this girl. Thats the first time did that in a year. Thats dope.

Lately I have been reassessing alot of my beliefs alot the world, human existence, and other philosophical things of that nature. I've always thought about stuff like this but never this much. I've felt exhausted from it at times and just wanted to escape it.

I'm trying out yoga too. It's pretty tough but hey, I just started. I'm noticing that I'm being harder on myself. Not in a good way. Like calling myself dumb and stupid and other degrading things.

Well with a 18 days left I would say ive improved quite a bit. Like i've got rid of 75% of all my fear for sure. Maybe even more that im not concious of.

I fear 2 main things though. Or at least I feel anxious/nervous about them.

1. My dad
2. Pretty girls

I actually dont really know why I fear my dad. Its not like he has ever been abusive or anything. I guess it's a irrational fear like the fear of pretty girls. I dont know what exactly I fear about these 2 things. I dont really care if they judge me or anything. I think it might have something to do with screwing up. Even these main fears have easily decreased by around 50%.
