Hi, I've been listening to the Think Like a Millionaire sub every night since February 1 2016.
I plan to continue with this sub for the next 3 months. My aim is to at least increase the amount of money going into my bank account in the short-term through my salaried job as well as maybe through starting on a part-time business or winning a lottery.
I am working overseas and was back home for the first 2 weeks of February, coming back last weekend.
Most of my thoughts so far after listening to the sub have been on how to increase my income and being rich - my mum has had a knee operation and is in some debt which I feel obliged to help her clear hence my aspiration for greater wealth - I finished reading through Millionaire Fastlane and it opened my eyes to how possible it is to make much more money than I am earning right now, by just finding the right system.
I have presented with some interesting opportunities to actually return to my home country to work, but they are not confirmed yet, and I have to wait for the results, but I would think compensation and benefits for these opportunities should be better than if I were to stay in the UK to work.
In fact, I've had a greater motivation to move home, seeing that the amount of money I can make as a foreigner under a employer-sponsored work permit is limited and almost predictable. Meanwhile, I lose more and more interest in my existing job, as I feel it is not fulfilling my potential and I
can achieve greater things somewhere else.
I don't know whether it is due to the sub or not, but since coming back, I have become very reclusive and unwilling to socialize or talk to people, perhaps only with a select group of friends.
I've even had no more motivation to pursue the girl I like in London. I have this feeling that I should detach myself from her and focus on more pressing stuff.
But anyway, I haven't exactly found my goldmine and path to riches yet.
