People here appear to get results of some sort, but there's been no testing under controlled conditions, so all you can really do is see whether you yourself get results.

I found that with VLC Player there was brief static at the start and if I turned up the speaker real loudly I could hear what could've been voices. I'm using GOM Player now which is silent.

Why not ask others to be a part of this experiment with ssh? No conclusions at all can be made with just one participant. With multiple participants a placebo can be tested against the sub.

Shannon, I think you ought to get an independent research facility to do a randomised double blind placebo controlled trial with 50+ people. If it goes well, it would be well and truly worth the cost.
