I am assuming that it might even get me my job back to where I got "fired" if I wanted to go back even if the dominating force (my superiors) outrank me to make the ultimate decision that got me the boot?

I used to have a genie who answered to the name Jim Beam who worked mainly through making me see the "silver lining" of things. We've since parted ways.
It's an interesting topic, and I'm curious to see what people think. "Luck" is one of those things that I used to vehemently protest against, but privately thought was out to get me (or maybe that was God?).
On a serious note, I did give LM about six weeks of uninterrupted listening to this past summer before moving on. Not a lot of time, I understand. I was beginning to realize that I was between a rock and a hard place, and my hope was that I could get a break in some area of life that I could kind of rally around. My decision to go with LM over Ultra Success (if I'm not mistaken, they have similar objectives) was to a large extent that I felt I was beating my head against the wall thinking but not coming up (through conscious effort) with any new ideas or solutions to pursue. LM seemed like it might be a way to ping the subconscious mind for anything that might be hiding in plain sight, as it were, then to follow that lead. However similar LM and US might be, my thought was that US would probably require you have some idea of what success is for you/how you'd like to succeed, I mean, besides "Help!!! Get me the f*** outta here!," which is kinda where I was at, truth be told.
