Yeah it was more to do with the type of company it was and their sales tactics, and over here, at least, you literally have 5-10 seconds to get someone's attention at the door, so some stretching of the truth is somewhat necessary to keep their attention and raise interest. "I want to sell you windows" would only get the door shut lol. No worries though, now heading to a more honest sales path.

I've heard it's on youtube but I've not personally seen it.
You could try Belfort's Book "Way of the Wolf". It details the straight line but personally, it's not as good as the movies since you can't hear the tonality.
I'd say Straight Line is the single greatest sales resource ever. Nothing else comes close tho as you get more experience, you'll notice how you can improve in endless ways.
Realizing that being completely honest and upfront, for example, can be a game changer, and can help you last longer. Because let's be honest, if you lie to people, eventually they'll find out and they won't want to buy from you again.
The best way to sell is to focus on LONG term. REPEAT business and referral business. Sometimes that means sacrificing a sale today to make more in the future.
Also, beware of any sales strategies that focus heavily on "closing". If you're doing things right, your customers should be literally asking you for the sale or with something like "When can we do this?" They close themselves because you've sold them. You don't sell people by closing them, you close people by selling them.

This is how I've set up both of my companies (and my marketing) with purpose. Any of my friends who own companies and are successful, regardless of niche, have done the same. 100% accurate to anyone reading this.
Focus on creating value only, when you've done a good job at that, the money is easily obtained in droves after that point. Customers will feel the inherent value and sell themselves. Value comes first, then comes casholah.

So in sales today it was raining and I have a cold but I felt f*cking amazing. Talked to lots of people, got to a new level of selling the promo product (I try not to, but to get my sales numbers up my manager said it was ok to sell it) where I'm sure most of them would not have bought but I got really creative and made it so implied. Love it.
Also, got into a house with a hot Asian girl. Prolly 20 years old. Wearing nothing but a sweater and boy shorts. She seemed attracted to me a bit but then I was getting nothing from her. No resistance, but no attraction either, just going with the flow. I tried to game her a tad but can't tell if it worked or not. It's entirely possible I'm just building it up in my mind and she didn't even notice me.
OH! And I knocked on a door and sold a woman who looked almost EXACLTY like Kendra Lust. Hot damn. She even sounded like her. Just wow. She even stood in font of me and to my left, facing me, and crossed her farthest lag across her crotch to the other side of her closest foot so it was like an exaggerated foot ioi with covering up her crotch so I dunno.
Mostly I'm just trying to have solid alpha eye contact (not looking away first).
Anyhow, I really feel like I'm going places and like I'm getting a grasp on things socially. Absorbing some pick-up and sales material recently that's really clicking for me.
EDIT: Oh yeah and I forgot to mention how I forgot to not listen to DMSI last night so I'll have to skip tonight.

It's 5am where I live. Just had a dream about my hairdresser. Seems she made quite the impact on me.
Also, watched a bunch of Kendra Lust porn because of that woman yesterday but eventually (just a few minutes) I was like "this won't help me get girls like her" so I started thinking how I gotta get on the learning. Good stuff.
Still, being this horny isn't fun. It's like being starving and unable to satisfy it which could be "good" I suppose.

Got my 6 month performance review today.
Well I'm not getting fired. >>
Overall the supervisor seemed pleased with me, but we agreed I need to work on my sales ability.
This is something I'm just dropping my ego for. I simply HAVE to start from the beginning again, no way around it.
Luckily, there are a lot of successful guys around I can learn from.
I'm also going to be working on the book emotional intelligence 2.0
Those are my 2 areas of improvement for the next 6 months.

I found I was overthinking things a lot and porn helps me just clear my head as the lizard brain is activated so no more analytical thinking.
Did better in sales yesterday and it was because I stopped trying.
Again, overthinking was hurting me.
I hope the next version of DMSI will not have the porn/fapping restrictions.
