alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - alumni80 - 04-12-2010 Hi I'm starting this journal today to share my experiences with the "Overcome Erectile Dysfunction" subliminal I just purchased and started using today (April 12, 2010). Hopefully, it will serve as a good, objective record of how it works for me over the weeks/months to come. Some background on me and why I'm using this subliminal: I'm 37, single, and enjoy a good sex life. My lifestyle is healthy...I'm slim, don't smoke, don't drink alcohol, and exercise a few times a week. People regularly mistake me for being around 28 yrs old. I can get erections when masturbating to pornography but over the past few years, I have been experiencing unpredictable, weak erections when with women -- so I've turned to the pills for help (the big C and V). The side effects and the anxiety of secretly having to plan this out before sex with a lover has taken it's toll and I am at a point where I feel I MUST fix this permanently. That's why I'm starting with the subliminal. My goal is to regain my normal erectile function -- where I get rock hard... a) at the site of a sexy woman b) at the thought of being with sexy women c) when I kiss a sexy woman d) at the touch of a sexy woman e) during sex e) throughout the day for no specific reason f) in the morning when I wake up I intend to listen to my subliminal (I prefer the masked ocean wave version) all night long (on speakers), and intermittently throughout the day as I work on the computer (with headphones). I look forward to sharing my results here with whoever is interested. And I encourage anyone else who is using or has used this subliminal program to add their comments and experiences to this journal thread. Thanks to Shannon for providing this forum for those who are using his subliminal titles. I hope this online community continues to grow! ~alumni80 RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Shannon - 04-12-2010 You are quite welcome, but it's not just me... Andrew does his share you know. Welcome to the forum! I am very interested in your results. One of the reasons I wanted this forum was MORE FEEDBACK! Kinda hard to know definitively what's happening without it. So I'll be watching. Welcome to the forum! I'm interested too in following this thread. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Clamshell - 04-13-2010 I was helping out on a study at a college I was attending. Most erectile dysfunction (that's not caused by physical damage) usually has to do with beliefs about aging. Or how a person is supposed to behave during certain decades of their lives (regardless of the fact that there are extremely mature teenagers and extremely immature senior citizens). RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - alumni80 - 04-13-2010 Correction: Thanks Shannon and Andrew for this forum. I'm glad this journal is already getting some interest. I'll post regularly with feedback on how the subliminal is affecting me. @Clamshell... "Most erectile dysfunction (that's not caused by physical damage) usually has to do with beliefs about aging. Or how a person is supposed to behave during certain decades of their lives" Was that the finding of the study at the college? Seem to make sense. After all, that's why I'm trying a subliminal to resolve this issue...it's all about 'beliefs' isn't it? Thanks for contributing to the discussion. I enjoy following your progress on your journal and I welcome your thoughts here. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Shannon - 04-13-2010 I don't think erectile dysfunction is always about beliefs. Physical damage can cause or increase it also. And of course after a certain age it's just not as new as it used to be. But I believe that a large portion of the men with erectile dysfunction are either suffering a subconscious program that prohibits them, or an emotional blockage (or both). I'm talking in American society in particular and the common views of sex and sexuality that the rest of the world laugh at us about. The beliefs are that men, when they get past 30 are supposed to show "sexlessness". At least that's what a significant portion of the U.S. seems to feel. And a lot of people pick up on that belief. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Shannon - 04-13-2010 Wow I must not have gotten THAT memo! I'm 36 and "sexlessness" is not a word in my vocabulary. When I said age, I was talking 70... 80... 90... a man's equipment should work just fine up to that point for most guys. I think it's the drug companies have found yet another way to make billions by playing on social and societal barbs men face all the time. And maybe the fact that our society is in the midst of some rather major change and hasn't settled on what roles men and women have in sex and romance yet isn't helping either. But boy do we have some ridiculous hang-up concerning sex and sexuality as Americans. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - alumni80 - 04-14-2010 No problem. Thanks for your insights. Hope you'll keep contributing! RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Andrew - 04-14-2010 To alumni80 - If it's not too personal, please include how often you masturbate and for how long (average is fine) in your logs it would be much appreciated. Things like when the last time and about how often before an E.D. episode. To the rest of you who got off topic: Please stay on topic, for the main reason of respect to the original posters intent of discussion. While I am not about censoring, I am careful about how our content makes its way to the rest of the internet. Edit: I have deleted all un-constructive posts. If you have any problem with this please email or PM me directly. This thread is going to be very important and some of the posts just did not belong here and detract from its purpose. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Shannon - 04-15-2010 What good would it do to post masturbation habits? That seems a little beyond the call of duty to me. We do need to know about your current and future episodes of erectile quality and ease of erection though. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - alumni80 - 04-15-2010 Shannon and Andrew I don't mind sharing some masturbation/sex info that relates to the topic of the thread. If you deem it too graphic, please feel free to edit/delete at your discretion. Generally, my erectile function is normal (maximum erection strength that lasts for as last as stimulation continues) but ONLY when I look at pornography and masturbate with lube. HOWEVER, when I'm with a woman, making out, getting oral, or having intercourse -- ON A GOOD NIGHT, my erection strength wavers with the hardest being quite less than what it is when watching porn and masturbating with lube. On a bad night with a woman...I get NOTHING. No signs of erection at all. This is a terrible feeling of helplessness and well...impotence that is difficult to describe for those who haven't know it. I've missed out on sex with amazing women, even some threesomes because I just couldn't get it up when it was time (and I didn't have the pills at hand). It's this worst case scenario that lead me to depend on Cialis and Viagra for all sexual experiences. I always have a pill or two stashed in a pocket of every jacket, every bag just in case an opportunity to hook up comes up and I need to perform. The last few years, sadly I've lost all confidence in my ability to get it up NATURALLY, drug-free, when with a woman. This being said, last night (after 3 nights of sleeping with the subliminal playing on loop) I was making out with a woman in my car and I didn't think it would go anywhere so I didn't bother with taking a pill. Things started heating up and soon I was getting oral from her and, though the firmness came and went, I got fully hard! It may be too early to attribute this to the subliminal. Also worth factoring in is that I've severely restricted how much porn I watch and I have stopped masturbating altogether. But it was so encouraging!! When she and I came back to my place, I struggled to get hard enough to have sex but I managed. That was frustrating BUT... this was the first sexual experience I have had without erection pills since 2006! At least I'm going into sex drug-free. It's astonishing how dependent I've become on the pills for erection confidence. The subliminal (even if it's a placebo at this stage) is definitely helping boost my confidence that I can work through this issue drug-free. Thanks for that. I'm looking forward to more breakthroughs. So...some masturbation/sex background for the log And...some encouraging early experiences. I'll keep posting with results. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - Andrew - 04-17-2010 Thanks for posting that info, and thanks for being so transparent. This forum is fairly private but if you ever would like to have this thread be private just let me know. Glad to see you may be getting results already. Masturbation practices, content, frequency, etc can be very closely linked to E.D.. Many people it's quite the opposite, never masturbating or not masturbating enough causes E.D.. There could be some psychological blockage due to pornography specifically, have you tried keeping frequency up to around once a day without any external stimuli? Oh, and yes, I've had E.D. as well, but that is now a problem long in my past as I solved it. RE: alumni80's "OVERCOME ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION" journal - alumni80 - 04-17-2010 Hmmm. You ask an interesting question, Andrew. "have you tried keeping frequency up to around once a day without any external stimuli?" I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Am I right in thinking "external stimuli" is porn? If so, then no, I haven't. One of my challenges is not having enough mind power/visualization focus to imagine myself to an erection. This is improving everyday, though. I do agree that in my case there may be some psychological blockage due to decades of heavy pornography use. I'm hoping the subliminal (and abstaining from porn) will eventually clear that completely. In my case, NOT masturbating (to porn or otherwise) is helps get me to a state of desire where physical arousal is more immediate and strong...helping the erection quality. If I've just masturbated, I feel like my penis is exhausted and needs days to become responsive again. Things are DEFINITELY looking great so far, though. Again, it may or may not be the subliminals at this stage (hasn't been a week yet) but I am very encouraged. Had another successful drug-free erection experience last night! Enough of these, one after the other, are bound to contribute to greater and greater erectile confidence. I am very pleased with my progress so far and I will keep playing the subliminal all night every night. You mention you had E.D and that it's "now a problem long in my past as I solved it." If you feel comfortable sharing your story of how you resolved that issue, I would be most interested to hear. On this thread or by PM. Thanks! |
