I've been noticing as I've had a cold recently that as usual with all the phlegm and nastiness that happens my voice drops down to the level of an epic movie-preview announcer. I don't really have a high voice normally, but while I'm like this I sound much like a bear, and people (especially women) turn their heads to see who's talking. Anyone had similar fun experiences? I've never thought about our masculine voice subliminal but almost makes me want to try it to talk like this all the time.

I have noticed that whenever I pull a drill sergeant and yell and scream and holler, the next day my voice does that. It's the swelling of the larynx, I think. I also get it when I have certain types of cold. I have been told it's *very* sexy.
Then again the other day I was told my voice is "naturally hypnotic". I had to laugh.
