Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - Raykon - 06-25-2016 My friend's argument is that he read in his psychology class that Subliminals don't work. I know they work but I want to prove this to him so he starts buyingyour products. Shannon can you please explain how your subliminals work? I remember reading something a big post from shannon that explained it quite well but i cant find it. I am not Shannon, but I will share a quick story that I told a friend who doesn't believe in subs. I used priming. I said a series of large numbers and then asked him to pick a number between 1 and 100. He chose 96. On another day I said a bunch of low numbers and asked again, he chose 17. I did the same thing with the color yellow and then asked him to pick a fruit. It is not the exact same thing as a subliminal, but he got the idea that the brain is very powerful on an unconscious level. Vegas uses it, along with scents, and lighting to keep people happy and playing. Restaurants use it by making elaborate names for a dish so that they can charge more and then putting a number without the dollar sign. Give him examples where he is being influenced and he doesn't know it and then ask what if you could choose your own outcome. Some people want an advantage, but never look for one or are too skeptical to try anything. Those same people then wonder why they never change anything. I have a few friends who are open minded and those are the only ones I share stuff with. RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - Raykon - 06-25-2016 Yeah I remember that pheremones smell in vegas. I noticed that too in the casinos/hotels they all had it. Yeah honestly it really bothers me because I poured my heart out to so many people trying to get them to buy alpha male or consider subliminals for there own benefit and they all acted interested and never ended up going through with it. All of them quite skeptical even after a year of me telling them how much its changed me for the better and how strong they are. I stopped sharing the info of subs to people because I realized its not worth the effort for me to pour my heart out like that. I have changed some people lives tho. My parents and my two friends who are twins and two other friends have done subliminal and greatly enhanced there lives from using subs. My mom was super skeptical till she saw me change on AM 5.0 the first time and then AM v6 RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - darklord1 - 06-25-2016 (06-25-2016, 10:23 AM)Rayhon Wrote: Yeah I remember that pheremones smell in vegas. Because if everyone believed and if everyone did it, then it wouldn't be special. It's that secret way to work....It's checking out at the jewelry counter instead of waiting in those long regular check out lines in the store.....It's volunteering at a sorority charitable event and getting more ass than a toilet seat while your friends go to bars that have jacked up ratios (sausage fest is what we used to call them), buy girls a ton of drinks and wonder why they can't get any "after all that effort".... All about framing, my friend.....Remember to be happy when people are skeptical because you get the advantage and they don't. Surround yourself with open minded people that will bring you new things to make you better. That is the key to the Dark Side.... RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - Shawn - 06-25-2016 From my experience, the people have to be at least open for subs. Other way they would just do some self sabotage to proof it doesn't work. Just suggest to him to try a free sub. If he thinks it is working he should be also willing to purchase a sub. And your right if everyone was using this all of a sudden like FB the Government would find a way to make it illegal. I think your right everything happens for a reason and also one of the reasons I stopped trying to help everyone and teach them about subliminal s is because I decided I don't want to play god any more. That being said the changes I've had personally and seen my parents and friend go through are so profound it's hard to keep this a secret and not try convincing people you care about to use subliminal s. Yeah I think your right. I've had allot of excuses come up from people and they ended up never using the subs. I've heard allot of people tell me they can't sleep or they the voices (might be true because he has very special hearing senses because he great at drums) and lots of other excuses as to why they can't or wont use subs right now. I think weak people fear change and stong people don't . Those who fear change are subconsiously scared to do the subliminals in fear of losing there personality or fear of actually achieving success. I'm not sure if this is true but I believe it is for some people. You can only help people as much as they are willling to be helped. RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - hiddenalias - 06-25-2016 I want to comment on this. I had a skeptical acquaintance that doesnt beleive in it until he sees proof. I dont know how I discovered subs for myself but maybe the realization of things manifesting without using any subs due to subconscious mind is what made me a believer. And how you just said, you don't want to play God no more. I think there are people who are destined to find subs and those that are destined to not. I bet you millions of people either dont believe in it and / or don't believe such powers exist. Anyone who is on this forum of Shannon's with subliminal talk are the lucky ones to have discovered the site in such a way that even the subconscious lead us here whether by self discovery or by other people. This is why I believe that we who know of this site are lucky and destined to lead a better productive life because we know what many dont know or dont believe in. There are millions of other sites out there are just shady and not genuine and real whether subliminal sites or others in comparison to Subliminalshop.com and Subliminaltalk.com RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - Jones - 06-25-2016 Either he's willing to test new things, or he is not. My suggestion would be to get him to try ASC. Even a slow responder like me will notice improvement in 32 days. You know it's really fascinating I agree 100 percent with everything your saying and I've had the same thoughts as well. I do believe it's destiny and some people are meant to come across the path and some are either not supposed to ever or not yet. I was very involved in self development and i read about 3 books on the subconscious mind the weak I found about Subliminal-shop as well as the law of attraction and I randomly found this website on a Google link. I was going through a rough break up at the time and was in a really negative and weak place mentally and emotionally. Alpha male saved my life and gave me self esteem I never had. Im blessed I honestly feel like I've found magic & I'm one of the few lucky people in the world who has been blessed by a higher power to have found subs. I don't think going mainstream would necessarily be a good thing for the company long term but it would either save allot of lives and ruin allot of lives as well. an Alpha male run at age 50 for example could ruin a marriage and relationships with people I imagine if it makes the polarity of a person whos been married with someone for 20 years to completely switch out of no where. that's my guess and it may be true or false depends on the situation and person / relationship. AM can make someone with a criminal mind even more dangerous and criminal. I know that for a fact. I don't think Shannon stresses the seriousness and potency of the subliminal s as much as he should. But I think your doing great Shannon and I'm very thankful and proud of you constantly working at your company and bringing new products. RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - Womanizer - 06-25-2016 I personally don't think you should force your friend into it , because then your friend won't take responsibility and blame you for the resistance. I have a person in my life who knows beyond a reasonable doubt that subliminals work and yet she's resistant. Why ? It goes on to spiritual topics , which may break rules so I will stop there. You can't change people they have to want to do it themselves. You already introduced your friend to the idea , when he's ready or she's ready they will take action. RE: Shannon how can I convince someone of subliminals? - DarthXedonias - 06-25-2016 I would say just give him the idea (which you have) then leave the rest up to him. Whether he decides to act on it or not is his choice. I will be honest, I was like you when I found subliminals and wanted to tell some people who had gone through some very hard times most of their lives. You can probably guess how that went. Hate to say it but most people are idiots (hope I don't sound too high and mighty by saying that) and rather: (1) Be popping pills to solve their emotional and psychological issues, (2) Spending years and lots of money seeing a psychologist and not see anything come of it (not saying their aren't good psychologist but they are very, very few and far between), (3) Rely on the consensus (AKA group think) of experts to "tell" them how to deal with "their" issues (unfortunately at this time the consensus from "experts" at the moment seems to be that subliminals don't work at all), 0r (4) be too afraid to try or feel guilty because they feel like they would be cheating somehow (I've heard this one before). To be completely honest, from your friends response I'm not very hopeful. His response was essentially I don't believe subliminals work because this psychology teacher with multiple degrees (probably) "told me so". That tells me he isn't very open minded (though he might be in other areas of his life). A open minded but healthy skeptic would response, "I know this has been said to not work but I'm going to try it anyway just to see if maybe their are some misconceptions about this method and to see if maybe its the people who are in places of authority that are wrong about this issue". I can't tell you how many times I've sat in a class room and had a professor tell me "this" and "that" are true then go do my own research only to find out that: (1) The information was outdated, (2) What he said got debunked years ago, or (3) He was forcing his ideology into the issue and wasn't remaining objective. On a side note, I have thought, like others, about the impact subliminals would have on mass of people and how some of the reactions (positive and negative) might be to this technology. Like someone else mentioned I wouldn't be surprised if the government tried to ban it. Lets face it most people (primarily politicians) don't want people to be self actualized because self actualized people don't give up their personal power to others and don't get easily manipulated by guilt, shame, and fear. Not to mention even though each individual would benefit greatly from being self actualized there are others with conflicting self-interest that would lose out. For example, many other people selling stuff in the self help "industry" would probably see their market share dwindle (those that take long to see effects anyway) and also things like AA programs, stop smoking items, PUA bootcamps, etc. You would also see a more balanced sexual market place between the sexes. Anyway that might be fear speaking, or maybe just looking at how human nature currently is but that's my opinion on it. I appreciate your enthusiasm for my products. Go ask him... How long was it a "scientifically known fact" that the Earth is flat? Or that heavier than air flight is impossible? Or that going to the moon is impossible? Or that communication around the world in less than a second is impossible? Or that machines thinking is impossible? Or that the Earth is the center of the solar system? Or any of a thousand other "facts" that have been dis-proven over the centuries, after the "experts" stated that they were true? If you look at the history of science, you will see this pattern: X is accepted as a fact. Someone comes along and shows that X is false. Science first ignores them, then laughs at them (discredit), then attacks them (usually destroys their career), and then X is discarded as false and their work is accepted - usually after it is too late for them to benefit from it. The science of Psychology as a whole does not believe that subliminals work, even though there are plenty of studies that show that they do, and plenty of evidence otherwise that shows that they do as well. The key, as I have said before, is that they must be scripted properly, built properly and used properly. Not many people in the world know how to do all three of those things, if they know how to do any of them. Psychology's current position on subliminals not working primarily boils down to two things. First, the subconscious is not really well enough understood for experiments to be crafted that make sense or to have the results be understood correctly, and second, there is a vested interest at play in "not believing that subliminals work". You would laugh at a lot of the experiments that have been done that "prove" that subliminals don't work. Many of them are relatively obvious efforts to prove it doesn't work instead of find the truth, and many of them are so badly crafted that even a non-scientist could see the flaws in them. Over time, probably the next few decades, this will change and subliminals will be accepted and even become mainstream. But at the current time, the only thing you are going to be able to do is suggest one of our free programs to him. If he's interested he'll try it; if he's not, he won't. Proving it to him is up to him, not you. As has been said, some people are open to the idea, and some are not. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. |
