How far can ultrasonics be heard? - Why So Serious? - 03-28-2016
I live with family while listening to the subs in my room with the door closed at night.
Even with the door closed it seems like they are still getting exposed. They keep complaining about crazy dreams since I started MLS. Not that I'm complaining(although my aunt would have a fit if she found out) just wondering if anyone else has the same issue.

Very likely, they are being exposed.
I have seen entire rooms of testers, and relatively large rooms at that, respond during experiments done at (sometimes) ridiculously low volumes. At moderate to high volumes, I have seen several times people have given signs of reacting through walls and doors, depending on what they were made of.

That's interesting. So I just need to keep it off when the nephews are around. They are seven so I don't know how it will work on them.

well for anyone you don't want to affect, either lower the volume, use headphones or turn it off.
