I have just left my job and I am planning on starting a business in the coming month. Will the programming in Stress Relief work against me?

That depends on how you interpret it. It's designed to disable negative stress. Negative stress is stress from things like anger, frustration, fear, things that hold you back and use you up unnecessarily. Positive stress is things like hunger, things that cause you to survive.
If you have to ask, though, I would say... use something else unless you can afford to experiment. Starting a business is going to be stressful to some degree, and if you are doing so without a day job, you have one shot to get it right. Better not risk it if you don't have a lot of saved up capital to lay back on, should the program somehow function in way that works against you.
