Sleep Phones - waahbeta - 07-06-2015

Has anyone tried sleep phones??
Concept is wonderful. But no clue whether it will work for the subs or not.

RE: Sleep Phones - GlaizenGold777 - 07-06-2015

He does but he uses wireless/bluetooth and he's assured me it's ok yet online and here I've read bluetooth could result in loss of quality/sound so it shouldn't be used

what do you think?

RE: Sleep Phones - waahbeta - 07-06-2015

Cable one would do I guess.
But they don't ship to India. Pretty sad.
There are few available on aliexpress.
But for $7 compared to $40 on actual site.
Might b duplicate ones.
Doubtful to go for it.

If there is any "loss of quality," it doesn't affect any results (in my experience). All I use is Bluetooth.

Give them a call and ask them if they can ship to India

If they can't ask them for stores that stock it and maybe they can ship to you

Otherwise try all amazon sites around the world and see if anyone can ship to you

RT Boss Really?

So you use Bluetooth sleephones?

Do you use any other Bluetooth devise such as over the ear headphones?

I'm just worried cos I'm 37 and don't want to lose time using anything bluetooth for it to not work especially since I'll probably start with EPRHA which isn't noticeable when it kicks in as much as other subs

RE: Sleep Phones - CatMan - 07-06-2015

No clue?

This has been commented on in this forum many many times...with respect. I don't know why there's such a fear about this issue. They're perfectly fine, and work great. I've said it, Shannon has said it, but still, this fear pops up all the time.

They're great, as long as you get actual Sleephones. The ones you describe sound like crappy knockoffs, so I'd pass on those and get the real ones. They're worth it, skimping a few bucks on headphones for subs is risky. It's worth it to spend some reasonable money to get a quality product to make sure you get a good experience out of the subs.

Guys, they're fine, honestly. Bluetooth is fine also.

Hopefully this finally settles this issue, but I doubt it. It never seems to die for some reason.

My first sub was EPHRA. I ran it for a month exclusively from an audio app on my Galaxy S4, connected through Bluetooth on my Bose Soundlink. I had results in 3 DAYS. I stopped drinking and watching any porn whatsoever with ZERO INTEREST. Neither is important to me to this day. I drink socially, but not with the intent to "cover up feeling bad," like I used to.

EPHRA works fast, through Bluetooth. Don't hesitate.

Its not about money. I love spending on headphones (don't know why Big Grin).
The thing is they don't ship to India n so does Amazon.
Their loss as it can be a super hit in India if they officially launch it over here. Aliexpress does ship but as I said they might b d duplicate ones for $7- $10.
And there's no other branded product like sleep phones.

N secondly, I dint know how to quote your message, so clicked on that bulb. Dunno what it stands for. Sorry fr that.

RE: Sleep Phones - Jake2015 - 07-06-2015

I found this thread where bluetooth isn't recommended.
http://subliminal-talk.com/thread-3621-post-52564.html?highlight=bluetooth+headphones#pid52564

Also I've read online that with Bluetooth as well as with RF (RADIO FREQUENCY) headphones there is a loss in sound etc hence the concern

But if you CatMan and RTBOSS swear by it then ill look into the wireless sleepphones

What is a good quality bluetooth headphone to get?

RE: Sleep Phones - LionKing - 07-06-2015

(07-06-2015, 12:33 PM)Jake2015 Wrote: Also I've read online that with Bluetooth as well as with RF (RADIO FREQUENCY) headphones there is a loss in sound etc hence the concern

The signal transmitted through Bluetooth is digital, so no loss of quality should occur while the signal is "in the air". However, the way the incoming audio is packed into that digital format is lossy, i.e. it leaves something out to reduce the size of the data to be transmitted, and there is probably more than one algorithm that can be used to implement this. And of course we all know that Shannon has told us not to repack the audio files, because this might impact quality. A BT device just packs (and unpacks) it peace by piece instead of the whole file at once.

So if you want to be safe, I'd stick to headphones that have been reported to work (meaning that the codec used must not be too aggressive). But the actual wireless part shouldn't be an issue.

Lionking thanks but what does that mean (as I'm not too tchnical to get it), that bluetooth is ok?

can you recommend any headphones if bluetooth is ok and does that mean sleepphones bluetooth are ok?
