I was cleaning up some paperwork, and I found some notes I had made from a book I had read awhile back. Perhaps this information might be useful to some of you.
Apparently, the root of depression symptoms in some people might be caused by pyroluria, a genetic metabolic disorder that causes nutrient deficiencies over time, especially in B6 and Zinc. I found a website that has a good brief overview, and also a quick questionnaire you can take. Link here: Do you have pyroluria?
The notes I found were from the book Depression-Free Naturally by Joan Larson. On page 154 she gives supplement recommendations for Pyroluria.
