I'm about to start AM 4g and I've read in a couple of places that suggest multiple runs of the AM program. How many is ideal?

Brother JamesC71 I would like to congratulate you for taking the first step towards becoming the man you choose. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that there is no magic number as to how many times you should run the AM.
Some people have ran AM 2-3 times some even more. Begin the journey and decided at the end whether you need to run it again.
