If you have doubts about the safety of something, getting reassurance from the provider of it is beating around the bush. RE: Absolute Self Confidence Version 5.0 query - adam225 - 12-09-2014 Funny enough, Shannon will just give a straight "no" if he thinks it's not safe. Normally I would agree though.... RE: Absolute Self Confidence Version 5.0 query - Shannon - 12-09-2014 I have not done a lot of testing on children in that age group. However, what testing I have done shows me that the 5G programs work well on them. I am not sure that ASC is what would be best for her, and I am also not sure whether what I might otherwise suggest (Life Tune-Up) would be appropriate for someone her age. I don't see it being a problem to give her access to ASC, but you will have to monitor her very closely and you will also have to be aware that because of the lack of testing, you may end up with some unexpected results. Child psychology is not the same as that of adults, and my area of focus has been in adult psychology primarily. So I cannot recommend you use programs designed for adults on children, but at the same time, I cannot see a direct reason why you should not use ASC for her, aside from to say that self confidence is potentially an emotional issue that may need to be dealt with. It appears to be safe. The choice, then, is up to you. But if you do use it, you are accepting responsibility for the choice, and the results, good or bad. Pay very close attention to how it affects her, and try to regularly and frequently communicate with her about her feelings if you use it. I would personally be more inclined to seek a system designed for children her age, or consult a child psychology specialist. |
