RE: The New BASE Sub - Shannon - 09-02-2014

Yes. I notate the sections of script by differentiating the script itself from the section title by using three asterisks before the title, and then bolding it. Those were copied from the script to the list, while the others were copied from the list to the script section. :-) In other words, there's no particular significance to those sections because they have the asterisks, it's just the particulars of order in which I constructed the list. Did I put the title in the list and then put that section in the script (no asterisks), or put that section in the script and then construct the list from the section titles (asterisks)?

RE: The New BASE Sub - Natious - 09-04-2014

I am starting to think that BASE is cursed. Looks like Shannon is going through hell to make even the first stage. Got to admire the persistence though.

RE: The New BASE Sub - Shannon - 09-04-2014

BASE isn't cursed. It's just how these super complex six stage 5G sets go for building. It takes a long time, and every little thing has to be checked and rechecked, and errors are found and fixed, and life gets in the way sometimes. It's part of why they cost what they do, and why I don't like building them. But once I start a six stage 5G set and get going, nothing stops me. It will be done. It's just taking longer than expected, partly because it's more complex than expected, partly because I was not expecting to have to deal with my grandfather's change in situation and partly because I am also working on the MPME at the same time. The MPME is continuing to fascinate me, but I can't work on it much because of BASE.

One of the good things about the 5G build process is that it forces everything to be looked through with a fine tooth comb six or seven times. That means that I spend time fixing things, optimizing things, and so forth, also. It takes longer, but it means that the end result is always exactly what I wanted and intended it to be script-wise. Errors don't make it through that process.

Good things come to those who are patient, and those who persist. :-)

hope there's a smooth transition from am5/am6 to base

Anyhow. You're doing fantastic with these subs.

Couldn't agree more, wouldn't know myself though since I am used to giving up after a few tough challenges.
Anyway, best of courage working on this beast of a program.

RE: The New BASE Sub - Natious - 09-05-2014

Reading from your journal Shannon, maybe it's best if you deal with MPME before BASE. Everything I've done I know I do the best when I'm so interested in doing it that time seizes to exist. If the community is alright with it then you can later add in Magnus to BASE and deal with it later. I'm sure that the end result would be better.

Develop MPME first, then start BASE again. I'm sure you thought of it to some extent already, otherwise you'd be on stage 5/6 with BASE. If this keeps stopping you, it will be a 75% effort product.

Give it a guess how many of us want BASE in 6g instead of 5g, no matter the short time.

RE: The New BASE Sub - lokko - 09-05-2014

I had the same thought as you Natious, however just didn't want to say anything because Shannon has been creating great subs overall and knows what he is doing however I do agree with you, I'd wait for Base if Magnus was going to be implemented to it eventually. I'm sure lots can agree with that, but that's only because we love the idea of base and hearing that it could only get better with the newer technology you're creating makes us put aside the wait time for base to a longer period, while we can still benefit from the other subs you have. In the end it's your decision, you're already having to go through alot working on the skeleton of magnus so we will understand if you see base as priority over MPME.

RE: The New BASE Sub - athanas - 09-05-2014

BASE in 6G, THAT would be awesome. And as Base is the newest of the 6 Stage programs, if it doesn't get 6G now in creation it maybe never will, seeing how many other 6 Stagers are waiting to be upgraded...

There are numerous pluses and minuses to this, although I am highly in favor of it..My Viewpoint is below

PLUSES:

6G Technology (MPME) is AMAZING from the brief bits of information that we have been exposed to. From reduced listening time, to the speed of removing resistance, to achieving variable emotional states of mind, and the manifestation element could dramatically change the way life is viewed. Also, Shannon is extremely excited about it (MPME) and is having more cognitions, realizations, and "Eureka" moments that when focused, can quickly gain momentum and therefore, new discoveries and better technologies.

The other benefit is the wait time for those who are beginning a 6-Stage Set or are in the process of finishing a 6-Stage Set, or even a single stage long-term that they can transition smoothly into BASE 6G by the time it's developed. Another thing is that this may be the last time for BASE 6G to be upgraded and the financial area of the website (except BAMM) would be a generation "short" although a vast improvement over it's predecessors

MINUSES:

It sucks to have something 80% complete and having to "start over". In this case though, a improved product would be created, and would probably not need an upgrade or be requested for an upgrade for a very long time.

Another minor drawback is that there many forum members who have been preparing (working extra hours for the finances, researching and studying business, etc) to make financial changes in their life (myself included). Shannon himself has invested 3 months into it. Maybe Shannon can take 10-14 days to upgrade Ultra-Success to 5G or create an Ultra-Success/Money-Magnet Single Stage 5G sub while working on MPME for BASE 6G for those getting their finances in order and able "upgrade" to BASE 6G when released. Just tossing ideas out...

Obviously, the price is going to get a significant boost (as expected) and the build time is more complex (Shannon's time). Shannon is also going on vacation for a while (okay that's a plus). It will probably be 2015 before we see BASE 6G

Me personally, the short time it takes to develop BASE 6G is going to pass anyway, so I wouldn't mind waiting for it in new MPME technology. That being said, whatever Shannon decides I'm buying it either way...

RE: The New BASE Sub - Ampersnd - 09-05-2014

That being said, how much do you expect 6G subs to cost? Single stage, I'm guessing something like 197$, and 1,000$ for a six-stage. Won't cost the same as 5G, of course.

RE: The New BASE Sub - JackOfHearts - 09-06-2014

From what Shannon said this MPME technology seems so hard to build that a 6 stage subliminal might be impossible to build or might take a year or 6 month to build Big Grin

Who want to wait that amount of time when Shannon has almost finish base 5G.

Plus I think Shannon is going to test this MPME technology on simple stuff like ASC first so Base 6G is not going to happen anytime soon Rolleyes

RE: The New BASE Sub - Shannon - 09-06-2014

I understand contemplating BASE in 6G instead of 5G, but here is why we are doing things the way we are.

First, I am not even done yet discovering what all I can do with 6G technology. It's development level code, so to speak. There is only one functional "6G" program, and that's the experimental prototype which is designed very specifically to allow me to see and develop the effects the potential has. Before I can release anything in 6G this must:

1. Be stabilized. I cannot be coming up with new discoveries 10 times a day and expect to reasonably build a program for release.
2. Be tested. I need to know that it works, works consistently, and works right.
3. Be understood. I need to know who it works for, and under what conditions (if any) it encounters challenges or fails. I need to understand what the limits are, and how to get the best results from it. I need to understand how to build it most efficiently, and what I can and cannot do with upgrading or building multi-stage sets. (It may end up not being possible or reasonable for one or more reasons.)
4. Be documented. I need to create a way to use it without having to recreate it every time (skeleton script), and I need to take notes on how to build it so that each build is consistent. I need to create human-readable instructions on how to use 6G programs.
5. Be integrated. We need to set up a 6G section of the store, and figure out pricing and policies regarding 6G.

This will all take time. Remember, my motto is Safe, Effective, Useful. If it's not all three, I will not release it. Period. So we are not going to see 6G technology coming out right away. I would love to build something in 6G to show you what I have, and maybe I will do that with something as I go to demo what's currently happening, but for the time being, I don't understand it well enough to be able to transition it to anything but what I am building it around. Translating it from the test bed to say ASC will require a much better understanding of the whole system, and perhaps a skeleton script as well. But the reason you like my work is because I do what I do correctly, and it works. So we will do this right, and you will get to see it when it's ready. :-)

In the mean time, BASE 5G is still being built, and it will be finished. It's turning out to be more challenging to build than I expected because of a few different things, including how long the Master Key Script is (over 99,000 words), the intermix ratio of modules per stage being unusually dense, and the challenges I am facing externally (have to go visit grandpa much more often now, have to deal with other family more often because of that, have to spend a little time each day [currently set to an hour] working on MPME, and of course there's making backups of my more than 380 gigabyte build environment [3 hours on a good day, 12 hours when things go wrong] during which time I cannot work; fixing computer issues, etc.).

BASE 6G is more than a year away, if it is ever created. I hate making 5G six stage sets because of how long, tedious and boring it is. 6G looks like it will be several times slower, more difficult, more boring, more tedious and more complex to build. It is entirely possible that I will simply choose to never build anything over a single stage in 6G.

I know you guys are excited, and you like the stuff I create, but remember that there are limits to what boredom and tedium I am willing to subject myself to no matter what you pay me. lol BASE 5G is currently estimated to take about 1.5 days per stage to build the audio for, with Sunday and Monday being my days off to add to the mix. If we don't have too much distraction from life... I should be finishing Stage 2 today after the computer finishes backup, and then starting and completing about half of Stage 3.

RE: The New BASE Sub - AlphaMind - 09-06-2014

Take your time Shannon. I don't want BASE to be the first 6G.

I want MIR and ASC to be the first with MPME technology and for 6 stage I want WM 3.0.

YEAH, just like before, a pre-purchase WM but in 6G. The premier!!

IMO

RE: The New BASE Sub - adam225 - 09-06-2014

Yeah, WM 3.0 is needed !!!
