Solid Beliefs – An alpha male knows how he feels about something, and nothing is going to change that opinion. They are very stuck in their mind about things, down to the core. They do not like change, but will adapt to new surroundings and events quickly and with little trouble at all. If you were to lock an Alpha-Male and a Beta-Male in a room for a week, with enough food for both for five days, and two days extra food, you can be sure that the Beta-Male would go without for two days. They make decisions on a snap, but with calculation and authority. They lack indecision and are the ones to move things forward or to make the plans. They simply decide that they are right, and that there are more important things to worry about now. Often outspoken and confrontational, these volatile Alpha-Males will not back down challenged, and has no problem letting you know how he feels

personally, i like to share. while i may be the one in control in many instances, and i never go without just to please others (anymore!), i never let others go without either, where i can help it, since i've been on the receiving end so many times so i know how horrible it is.

according to the above quote, alpha's don't do that. i'd disagree. what are your thoughts on this?

Yup, sounds like a beta who doesn't understand what a real alpha is and is confusing them with beta-jerks.

I am happy with the overall but I dont see why:
- N6 - Why he should have moral ? Ok with values and principles but moral is somehow a judgment of good vs bad. If James Bond is alpha, he does have values but not 100% "moral".
- N9 - Dress code smart. This is a pure value judgment. Why smart, why not casual. There is a world of variation and I dont see why an alpha should conform to the james bond dress code.
- and more generally I just met two great leaders very differents. One Steve Jobs type, kind of very charismatic and kind of visionary, understand stuff quickly and give nice speech to have you motivated for years. Second maybe more like Bill Gates, meaning not really charismatic and without the big speeches but still empowering even if he doesn't talk much but always to the point.
My 2 cents as I am thinking still on what is really alpha.
