First let's compress it as much as possible... then let's add all sorts of garbage! hehe

That's the idea! lol. For distribution purposes I wouldn't really suggest it, and it might actually annoy me more than vlc's putting random stuff there. Why vlc can't just leave the album art at the traffic cone it USED to use in earlier versions when there was nothing embedded beats me... There's gotta be an option somewhere to turn this off at least. maybe.

Trust me. I don't waste my time or bandwidth on useless garbage in my .mp3's. Made or purchased.

I've never known VLC to auto-download artwork. I have this complaint about Windows Media Player and Player Pro on my Android phone.

Which player / software is recommended as the best for playing both the vocoded subs and ultrasonic?

Normally I use Windows Media Player for playing mp3, but if that makes the subs ineffective / less effective, than that is a problem in my mind!!

Does anyone know if Real Player changes the quality of mp3s that aren't recognised as DRM?

My plan is to play Vocoded Subs using Headphones whenever I can through the day (time able to play things using headphones each day varies between 30 mins to 7 hours, depending on many factors) and Ultrasonic Subs at night for 5-7 hours.

Thanks

This is funny to me and I take it as a good sign since the Ciccone Youth "Whitey Album" was one of my prized possessions back in high school. It was at one time a very rare Sonic Youth one-off side project where they goof around with Madonna songs and thus named it after her real last name.
