[SOLVED] Will Changing Title or Metadata Provoke Copy Protection? - risingwarrior - 02-24-2014 Hey, I've been using EPHRA a lot on my phone. However, I'd hate it if someone went through my phone's music library and found my subs. So, my question is, will renaming the file and/or changing metadata trigger copy protection? Say I changed the name from EPHRA to Calm music and the artist metadata from Shannon to something else..would that affect the sub in any way? RE: Will Changing Title or Metadata Provoke Copy Protection? - Shannon - 02-25-2014 If you're not distributing it, or otherwise breaking the triggers for anti piracy code as described in the FAQ, it won't trigger the AP code. However, I would appreciate it if you leave the file alone and instead just set your phone to lock after a certain time, as I do with mine. My phone locks automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity and requires a full password to unlock. Nobody goes looking through my phone or music.
