There is a thread in FAQs about this: http://subliminal-talk.com/Thread-Stereo-Versus-Mono-Speakers-Headphones-Why-You-Need-Stereo and we recently discovered the MONO capsule speakers do not work well with the subs, you will only get half benefit.

I found these stereo sound capsule speakers that will do the trick instead (and they are portable!) Wink

Hi everybody, My name is Anthony and i am pretty new to this site. I have a few questions to ask...not sure if i am in the right placeHuh
But anyway I have started off with the sub Absolute self confidence and i also purchased AoS .,I have them about a week now and i suppose i am wondering are they working. I am just using them on my laptop at the moment...it has internal stereo speakers and it is set at (44100hz cd quality) now i dont know much about this technology so i was wondering if you see any problem with using this before i decide what i need to get , that is better. I had been mostly using the masked subs although sometimes using the silent ones as well. I found slight static with the silent but nothing much, so i am wondering if you think they are working for me with this equiptment.I have the laptop beside my bed and at a comfortable sound level at night. After the first few nights i felt very tired and drained in the morning and also very thirsty, also i had some vivid dreams...do you think i am getting the benefit of the subs with what i am telling you,
i cant say i have anything else as of yet to report regards confident feelings or the AOS at the moment, but it is probably a bit early.
I have been using both subs as much as i can but concentrating mostly on the confidence one...If you have any tips regards using 2 subs i would be glad to hear them...as i said i am new to this process but i am really looking forward to it Thank you!!

Walker, you can use any speakers with the masked oceans/streaming versions. With the Ultrasonic/silent, you need something a bit better than lap top speakers, they usually cannot reach that frequency. There were a cheap pair I found at Target in this thread, but investing is always good if you plan to use a lot of subs in the future.

Also, the results do not always appear right away. It can take up to 2-4 weeks to expect results on most Type B subliminals (including Aura).

Ryan

Ryan, Thanks for that...just feeling my way around at the moment...takes a while to figure out what gear you may need.
Cheers

good quality external speakers then...Cheers.

Laptop speakers doesn't do quite well bro. I think we already have a discussion here about them.
Be sure to get speakers capable at least 20khz. Getting a good named brand is also always recommended. And make sure they are stereo speakers. I just realized that I have been using mono speakers and now in the process of getting new speakers. Smile

Thanks for that mate...glad of your help!

Yes. You are right. Now, I will be listening to the mp3 on my Macbook Pro, for now...I will return the speaker and purchase a stereo set. Thanks for informing me.

Can anyone recommend some decent ipod docking speakers that can have some high quality frequency response range? I am looking to spend $100-$300 bucks or so. Thanks

What do you guys think about iHOME iHM79 Rechargeable Mini Stereo Speakers?

They are a little expensive but I prefer to get speakers that I know will definitely work for me.

I order some also and arrived today Big Grin Thanks for posting them here. Wish I bought they baby's in the first place. There in a class I'm not use to lol yeah I am cheap but this time I'm not wasting months using wrong speakers any more thanks to you Big Grin

I like to point out Creative speakers are bull. The tweeters will burn out in the end so don't trust them. Logtect tends to to lie say there speakers top end is 20k when its more like 18k.

the logitech z4's were well worth the money. I wish they still made them because they were great.

I'm on the market for new speakers.
What do you guys think of divoom?

The only problem to this speaker is that it is omni-directional and may probably be a mono speaker. Though in the website it indicated that it can be separated in order to become a stereo speaker. It also has no AC cord same as the next speaker. Frequency Response: 100Hz-20KHz
Driver: 2” full range driver x 2

Of all the reviews I've seen compared to the other small divoom, speakers these speakers has the best sound quality:

It has two speakers (Driver size: 2 x 1.5 inch full range micro metal driver) so this means that it is stereo right? Does stereo speakers just mean having a left and right channel? And oh it also has good frequency response: 80Hz-20KHz

Has anyone here tested the iSpeaker??

http://www.amazon.co.uk/iSpeaker-Speaker-Dock-iPods-iPhones/dp/B0028PTXZS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I'm quite bewildered by the product's description: "Output: RMS 4W(2W+2W) THD=10% Frequency reponse: 150-1800HZ (+ 3dB) Signal and noise ratio of power amplifier: Bigger than 80dB Loud speaker: 1.5 inch (external diameter 40mm) magnetic resistant 40hms."

If anyone can shed light on that for me, whether this speaker would fit for subliminal products, I would highly appreciate it

Hello! I'm not sure but from the looks and the description I think that speaker only has one channel and speaker which means it is a mono speaker. Shannon's subs take advantage of the left and right channel of every speakers meaning you need a stereo speaker. Also make sure that it is capable of up to 20khz frequency response.

RE: Afforable Speakers (Meet Ultrasonic 20kHz Requirements) - tinygargoyle - 05-27-2012

If you want something of similar appearence may I suggest:

Kitsound KM2

As far as I can test they DO go up to 20khz and are fully stereo

RE: Afforable Speakers (Meet Ultrasonic 20kHz Requirements) - Tigurinn - 05-28-2012

Thanks guys, and yes - it probably is mono since the seller couldn't tell, as it isn't stated on the packing of the product (manufacturers who produce units that only play mono are just as silly as those who would only produce televisions that only display black and white).

And the frequency response for the unit was too suspicious.

UPDATE: Weeeeelllll, I just got quite a bit of shock. THE SPEAKER ON THE IPHONE IS F###ING MONO !!!!!!

So I'm pretty pissed off at Apple at the moment (no f###ing wonder I never got really anywhere with subliminal products); can anyone guide me to a stereo speaker that I can have covertly in my shirt pocket, so I can further test Poetry of the Silent Eros ???

RE: Afforable Speakers (Meet Ultrasonic 20kHz Requirements) - redragon - 07-15-2012

Guys, can you please guide me on how to check if the speakers/headsets are good for the subs? Where and what to look for in the packaging etc.?
