If I am about to have roommates what is the most effective way to use headphones for night time listening?
(eg any tricks to get them to stay in or feedback in general)

I use sleepphones. It keeps them on your ears all night and they're comfortable.

I use something thin with long sleeves and tie around my head as bandanna/blindfold. Useful for those bright summer nights and keeps my headphones on good enough.

Sleepphones are coming off for me too dang. iPhone headphones also come out. I must be an active sleeper

Use headphones more often, make up for the night time during the day. Go to the gym, read a book it's just background noise and it's the best way to get affects from the subs.
