Help with speakers - adventurousman - 08-12-2013 So I've bought few of the subliminals. I'm thinking of using alpha 5.0 with overcoming fear to which ratio should I listen to them? 8hrs alpha and 4hrs OF would be fine? Anyways, I can't find the rite speakers, been looking for them for over a month now. Looking for dock speakers as I sleep in the other room and computer isn't there so the speakers can't be connected to PC every shop I've been too, every speaker I've found, has no frequency written on it or it says 50-60hz and the frequency according to shannon should be 20khz which is hard to find. I checked other threads and there is not much there either found these speakers, I guess they're 20khz? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KE48CM/ref=oss_product http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logic3-MIP011K-i-Station11-iPod-Speaker/dp/B001HL0RD6/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1286878784&sr=1-7 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kitsound-Portable-Rechargeable-Stereo-Speaker/dp/B002ECEAPI/ref=sr_1_49?ie=UTF8&qid=1338146076&sr=8-49 I only found x-mini max 1.1 but someone mentioned it cracks up with ultrasonic tracks. I can't find the other 3 speakers above mentioned. Are there more? I live in the Netherlands, couldn't find it anywhere. I just want to buy it once as budget is tight and don't wanna regret buying the wrong ones so don't wanna spend 6 months with no effects because of speakers. I think you're misreading the frequency response specs. 50-60 Hertz is not the same as 20 KiloHertz. 50-60 Hertz is 50-60 cycles per second, and that's very close to the absolute lowest pitch a human can hear. 20 KiloHertz is 20,000 cycles per second, which is well above the highest pitch a human can usually consciously detect. Since the low end of audio reproduction is not a concern, 50-60 Hz is okay, although 20 Hz is better. But anything below 20 KiloHertz on the high end will be a problem. Usually it'll say 20Hz-20kHz. RE: Help with speakers - adventurousman - 08-13-2013 Yes frequency response is written on it. Its from 100HZ-20KHZ, I guess that is okay as we're concerned with high end rite? so it should go to 20khz even if it doesn't start with 20hz? Exactly! Those other 3 speakers I've mentioned doesn't give frequency response nor does a dozen of other speakers that I've checked but those 3 speakers were mentioned by other users in other threads and they said its 20khz, I don't know if it is Bottom line I need stereo speakers with 20khz frequency whether speakers are small or big or whether I use ipod or any other device doesn't matter, rite? What if it gives cracking voice when using speaker test audio but when I reduce the volume like suggested with ultrasonic it doesn't crack, would that be okay then? Other user reported that those speakers were not fine if they aren't then I'm out of options. RE: Help with speakers - adventurousman - 08-13-2013 I bought this one http://store.x-mini.com/product.aspx?id=761e57b3-8147-4a00-8d20-565ab24b65d8 it is stereo + goes up to 20khz there wasn't any cracking sound with speaker test audio how loud should be the volume of it? I had it at 87% in vlc, pretty loud actually. I've heard too loud isn't good for x mini speakers as it might damage it. it is giving clear and crisp sound. Gonna use it tonight with alpha 5.0 and then with OF Should I be expecting anything or just let go and don't focus on what its suppose to do? RE: Help with speakers - Mr.5' - 08-18-2013 Just let go adventurousman. The less our consciousness involve, the better. Shannon said in some post that "Set it and forget it" with "Let 's play and see it" attitude. I haven't used AM 5.0 yet, but my experiences with AOS before and ASC now prove it well. When use Sub, especially AM 5.0, expectations are normally inevitable, but let it be, let it shows us what it does . Hope this useful. |
