Question about Speaker Placement - Arrpee - 02-20-2013 Hello all, Im new here but not new to subs. Ive been using subs for almost a year now and I had a quick question about the placement of speakers. I bought new speakers and tested them and they work great, only problem is I cant get a speaker to stretch to the other of the bed. So my question is will using speakers on one side of your head affect the effectiveness, its really hard to sleep with earbuds in lol. RE: Question about Speaker Placement - Shannon - 02-20-2013 The better your placement is, the better the effects will be - with subliminals designed to use spatial stereophonic effects. Mine use that technique. So the more you can separate them, the better the stereo effect will be reproduced, and the better the result. If you can't do that, try putting them on either side of your pillow, or if that's not possible, just separate them as best you can to aim at your ears. RE: Question about Speaker Placement - Arrpee - 02-21-2013 Thanks Shannon, guess I'm gonna have to look at speakers with longer cords RE: Question about Speaker Placement - Creative - 02-24-2013 (02-20-2013, 11:40 PM)Shannon Wrote: The better your placement is, the better the effects will be - with subliminals designed to use spatial stereophonic effects. I honestly consider wearing headphones for 8 hours per day when i hear such things, even if it made my ears bleed. With a longer cord for speakers i wouldn't not be able to get them underneath the bed unless and i heard lenghtening does damage to the speakers so longer wouldn't cut it.I used them above my head, well not above as in(in the air), you understand. http://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/12188315/img/12188315.jpg So i use them in such when i set them up so i can get a Triangle shape between them and my head.(where the white pillow is and where the second standing green pillow is). This is the best i can do...what do you think Shannon? RE: Question about Speaker Placement - Shannon - 02-24-2013 I think you don't need to kill yourself trying for perfection. I suggest you do what is possible and relax. Bleeding ears and stress disorders are unnecessary.
