I was just wondering if there is going to be a crazy sale soon .I think Shannon mentioned that it is planned for beginning of january.

Yep. It will. I may have missed something, but looks like it's still unclear what day it will happen. Shannon said he plans to do on January 1st, but it will depend on the new website and his agenda. If it's not Jan 1st, then 2nd or 3rd.

Crazy Sale? What's that? We have always had a Ridiculous Sale on August 2nd (or as close as possible) to celebrate the birthday of the business, and another on January 1st (or as close as possible) to celebrate the new year and allow you to save some money before we do our annual price changes.
